To our wonderful clients:

It’s been over a month since a terrible earth quake wrought tragedy to Haiti. Our staff at Translators Inc. has been very impacted by this event. Because we are in South Florida, all of us know someone from Haiti who had a parent or friend injured or killed in this disaster. Although it is not such a newsworthy event anymore, the pain and despair of hundreds of thousands of persons persists and in certain instances continues to worsen.

Last month, we chose to forego our cheerful and upbeat newsletter and instead asked our clients to reflect on this misfortune and help out by donating through some of the bona fide charitable organizations we listed in our message The results was incredible, we were overwhelmed by emails like the one below. We are very proud to know that Translators, Inc. played a small role in encouraging folks to donate to this most noble cause.

“I just wanted to say hi and see how you’re doing. Based on Translator’s last newsletter and just because of your contacts, I’d guess that you guys hear a more than the average person about what’s going on in Haiti—anything you want to pass along? Your newsletter spurred me to make an extra donation to Habitat for Humanity, one of my favorite charities. If it served as a reminder to me, I’m sure it affected others in the same way. Thanks for using your corporate “voice” to support people in need. “
